Spring

Welcome 2 Weeks

This event welcomes incoming international students by semester and lasts for about two weeks. In the past, we have gone to soccer games and visited Japanese landscapes.

Summer

Yukata Event

In this event, visitors are invited to try on yukata. Many students participate in this event every year, and it is very popular. Let's experience Japanese culture!

Tanabata Event

This event offers visitors a chance to experience Japanese Tanabata culture. Tanabata is the night of July 7 when Orihime and Hikoboshi cross the Milky Way and meet only once a year. In this event, participants write their wishes on strips of paper and tie them to bamboo branches, and eat sweets. Let's experience this romantic Japanese cultural event!

Autumn

Halloween Event

This event is Halloween fun for all participating students. Many students dress up in unique costumes and participate in the event every year, and GLC has prepared many Japanese sweets for you to enjoy!

Winter

Christmas Event

All participating students enjoy Christmas together at this event. In the past, participating students brought gifts and exchanged gifts!

Mizuhiki Event

This event offers participating students the opportunity to try their hand at making MIZUHIKI. MIZUHIKI is a decorative string used as a gift, and has been widely used since the Edo period. Let's experience the traditional Japanese culture!
